Have you ever wondered why Raleigh Law Firms do not advertise fees on their literature of websites? For most reputable firms, this failure is not an effort to hide information, rather it is a recognition that quoting an exact fee for a general “case” is impossible to accomplish in a fair and professional way. With this in mind, we do wish to share our fee structure and process with you so that you will understand it when thinking about contacting our firm. We make every effort to be fair and up front with every Client about all fees associated with their particular case. Naturally, more specific fee information is a phone call or email away.
At The Doyle Law Group, P.A., we strive to provide top quality representation for a reasonable fee. Therefore, we offer flat, fixed fees and payment plans for most cases. This limits the amount legal fees you pay and eliminates the uncertainty and the fear of that shocking bill so many people report receiving from their lawyer. We make every effort at the outset of every case to educate each client on what they can expect to pay from start to finish. CONTACT US today to discuss your case.
Family Law and Divorce Cases
We offer two options of hiring of our firm depending on your case and your needs. The first option is for “settlement representation”, whereby we undertake to settle your case and all issues involved, including(as applicable) custody, support, alimony, property division, and any other related issues. This representation lasts for a certain, specified period of time and is the most cost effective way to handle your divorce related issues. The amount of the fee depends upon the issues involved, the settlement method, and the complexity of your case. We recommend settlement conferences and mediations as a means to come to agreement quickly and as painlessly as possible. We offer tailored payment plans for our clients in certain situations to make hiring us more affordable. CONTACT US for details and to discuss your case and the legal fees involved.
The second option is a “litigation representation” option, whereby you hire our firm to take a case to Court. This would apply whether you are the filing party or your spouse has already filed. Sometimes immediate court intervention is the only choice. We offer a reasonable, flat fee schedule that allows for payments measured by how far the litigation progresses. In other words, you will not pay for a final trial on custody if the case is settled early in the process. Our fee schedule is staggered to ensure that the fees you pay are measured by the progression of the litigation. You can eliminate risks with the flat fee, and still maintain the assurance that you will not have to pay for extensive services that you will not need. CONTACT US to discuss our litigation fee schedule. Remember, a SIMPLE DIVORCE is different, and is a one- time flat fee, however, we recommend a consult prior to obtaining a divorce so that you are certain that your rights are protected. A hasty divorce can eliminate your rights to marital property and your ability to obtain certain kinds of support. Don’t make a tragic mistake by filing your divorce without knowing the consequences of that divorce. CONTACT US to discuss.
Personal Injury and Auto Accident Cases
All injury cases are handled on what is called a “contingency” basis, meaning you will not be charged a legal fee unless we recover a settlement or verdict amount for you, and your fee will be paid as a portion of that amount. If we do not win a recovery for you, you will not pay any legal fees. CONTACT US for more details. ALL OTHER MATTERS Please CONTACT our firm to discuss our fees for all other representation. We will make every effort to provide you with the information you need when making to become educated about our fees.
